Square, Horizontal or Vertical ?

Should you choose a square , a horizontal piece or a vertical?

That is entirely down to the space you want to fill, but generally as a rule of thumb, try to choose a shape that is similar to the shape of the empty wall you are trying to fill.

So, if you are filling a wall that is between two windows, with the shape of the empty wall being vertical, we recommend you choose a vertical piece. A square piece could also work, but a horizontal piece would look wrong.

Above a bed headboard, the wall you are trying to fill would be horizontal, so a horizontal piece, or a square piece would work, but a vertical piece would not look right.

There are always exceptions, but these are generally applied methods.
